Another rainy wedding! We managed to sneak out a bit after the rains though to take a couple of shots. Here are just a few of my favs from the wedding. Slideshow to follow.

This shot cracks me up. It was raining like crazy out at this point. The wind was blowing and there were no sides on the tent. The guest had started to crowd around the center aisle. Andy starts to recite the Apache Blessing. Guess what the first line was...
"Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be the shelter for each other"
It was hysterical!

1. I really, really want to photograph a wedding where the Bride wears a colored dress, Fuchia, Turquoise, Emerald, I'm not picky just a beautiful rich color. Oh what a beautiful wedding!!! Kristen and Tony had a flawless day for their fairy tale wedding. Kristen and I had gone back and forth for a while trying to decide on the best place to take their wedding pictures. Up until the wedding day, we had decided on 3 locations. Well, when the day finally rolled around, and we ever got to Kristen's Grandparent's farm, I knew thats where we were gonna stay. Kristen's family grew up on the farm and it is very dear to their heart. I thought, what better location than somewhere so full of memories. This place was just amazing (and right up my alley) from the giant weeping willow trees and grapevines to old weathered barn doors and windows. I was in heaven!!! I knew these pictures would tell so many stories when looked at. Kristen and Tony were just magical together! They work so well together, and both have such great personalities. Thanks so much for allowing me to participate in your wedding day. I can't wait to shoot your "alternative bridal session" on Monday. (Stay tuned for Kristen's Trash the Dress)

Annemarie & Keith's Anniversary Session

Here it is! Fiinally, I shot Keith and Annemarie's 5 year anniversary session a few weeks back and I have finally got a chance to blog it. I went to high school with Keith. Recently over the last few years our paths crossed again at a mutual friend's wedding. It was great catching up and when I got an email from Keith shortly after inquiring about a session in honor of their 5th anniversary, I was stoked! Keith and Annemarie live in California and were going to be in town for his sister's wedding. We scheduled the session for that week and we had to reschedule it once due to the weather. I'm so glad we rescheduled though because we ended up with a perfect day and a killer sunset! I had so much fun shooting this session. These two just are so great together and they were so comfortable in front of the lens. They were really workin' it and it shows. Congratulations on your Anniversary! You both are so beautiful and I look forward to having the opportunity to photograph you again. In fact the next time you are home I might steal you both again just for fun!! I hope you love your images as much as I do! See you soon.

I am attending an amazing 3 day workshop in New Orleans in October and it will be the first time that I travel that far away by myself and I'm a little nervous. ;) I know I'll make friends when I get there but I was really hoping to maybe chat it up with some peeps attending before hand. Oh what an awesome couple! It is such a pleasure to photograph a couple sooo in love. A few months back when I met up with Tracey and Ricky for their engagement session I had the chance to get to know them a bit. After the session Tracy, Ricky, Nelly (my second for the day) and I went out for drinks. It wasn't long before I realized just how perfect these two were for each other. Just listening to them talk about their lives and about each other I could see how giving of themselves they both are. Tracey has worked for years with children in need, "in the system". Ricky serves his community as a police officer. They both had such emotionally draining yet rewarding jobs. They are truly an awesome couple!

Special thanks to my friend Nelly of Lumina Images for second shooting with me. She is responsible for all of the preceremony shots of Ricky and the guys!

Congratulations Kristen & Justin. I just love to photograph these two. They just work so well together! Besides photographing their B&G portraits, one of my favorite parts of this wedding was their first dance. K&J did a traditional slow first dance and then they broke into an impromptu jive sort of thing. It was so entertaining, because it wasn't really rehearsed too much or at all :) They did great though. I had a ball hangin' out with the two of you! Congrats and here is your slideshow.

As many of you know I ran a children's portrait special last month and I have been chipping away at the thousands of images that I shot. I made it half way through the sessions today, and if you did not receive an email today regarding viewing your proofs you will receive one tomorrow. Jillian and Eric

Jill and Eric.... what a beautiful couple! I had sooooo much fun with Jill and the girls. She was all about the camera and believe you me she was workin' it. I had a blast shooting this wedding. It started to rain the second the ceremony ended so we whipped out the umbrellas and made the best of it. We were able to get some awesome shots using the umbrellas. One of my favorite shots from the whole wedding was taken during the rain #51 in the slideshow. Just as we were finishing up it began to down pour something fierce!! Thunder, lightning, it was crazy. Luckily it only last a little while and we were able to go back outside for a few more shots when we arrived at Independence Harbor. What a great time this wedding was. Thanks so much Jill and Eric for letting me capture your wedding day! Enjoy your slideshow.

Chantelle & Edjann were wed last weekend at the Fall River Historical Society. They had a very small intimate ceremony with only their closest family and friends present. Chantelle is the younger sister of one of my best and oldest friends Andrea. I have actually watched Chantelle grow up since I met her when she was just three years old. Photographing this wedding really made me feel old! I can't believe that my little booger (a name I gave her when she was really little and it stuck) beat me to the alter. I am so happy for the two of you and I wish you all the happiness in the world. Congrats, I had a great time hanging out with the two of you on your big day!

Randi and Rob were married on 7/19/08. Their reception was held at the Regatta Place in Newport RI. I just love Regatta Place! It was a super hot day but when we arrived at Regatta Place there was an awesome breeze coming right off of the water. Congrats to you both Randi & Rob. In an effort to save our planet, I have added to my album line an album made of completely recycled materials. I have also completely eliminated paper proofs from my packaging for 2009. If you are one of my 2008 brides who would like to help me save the planet please read on. I am offering you the opportunity to swap out your paper proofs for (3) copies of your blog slideshow (great for parents), or (3) copies of your high res files or any mixture of them both. If neither of these are appealing to you I will also offer you a free Trash the Dress or Fashion Bridal Session. If you prefer the paper proofs, no worries I will honor your original contract. I just feel like paper proofs are monotonous considering your proofs are already posted online and you receive them on disc too. I would really like to give you something you can enjoy instead. The only stipulation is that you must notify me of your preference prior to your wedding.

Children's Portrait Special Update

I have been receiving lots of calls and emails regarding the proofs from the children's portrait special that I ran a couple of weeks back. I am working diligently to get through all of the files but between the 40+ children that I photographed that week and my last few weddings I have over 10,000 files to sort through so please be patient. You will receive an email within the next 3 weeks informing you how to view your proofs online. If you are one of the parents, please shoot me an email so that I have your email address. Sue & Mike are the winners of my free wedding giveaway contest. Since the contest I have had the opportunity to get to know the two of them a little bit and I can't think of a more deserving couple to win the contest. These two people do sooooo much for our community. They are so giving of their time and are always willing to help others in need. In addition to being awesome people they are soooo in love. I guess they have been referred to by friends as a "sickening cute couple". Which I can personally attest to. It is like they are always on their first date. Giddy, flirting and laughing the whole time!

Their wedding is set for the 4th of July 2009 so we thought it would be fun to do their engagement session at a carnival this 4th of July weekend. Well, doesn't it figure that we show up at the carnival and there were no rides at all it was just an artisans fair. There went our 4th of July theme or so I thought until Mike said "I brought sparklers!" So we created our own little fireworks.

As you all know, weddings cost a ton of money. Determined to have the wedding they have always dreamed of, Sue and Mike have decided to collect cans and bottles as a way to fund their wedding and also help the environment at the same time. A few of the local newspapers recently featured their story so you may have already read about them.

Anyways I am honored to be your wedding photographer and I am looking forward to the big day as I know it is going to be a blast!

Andrea and Brendan are the best couple. I just love them. This wedding was so so so much fun to photograph. There was never a dull moment. Andrea was absolutely stunning. She has these amazing blue eyes. I couldn't get enough of them ;) Brendan is so cool and laid back and he is ooozing with musical talent! He plays all kinds of instuments. He is in a band called Fever Dream and they actually played for the last hour or so of the reception. It was awesome! Brendan hopped on the drums for a while and rocked the house. I have began my crazy children's portrait week today. It was really really hot but fun! I had 5 sessions booked but unfortunately 2 of them had to cancel. :( I am booked for all 25 sessions but if anyone is interested in being notified of cancelations please email me your preferred dates and times and I'll keep you posted. I captured these photos while covering an event this past weekend at the Marble House Mansion in Newport RI. One of the neighboring mansions was having a fireworks display, so a bunch of the guests from the event that I was covering took a walk out to the waters edge to see the display. I quickly grabbed my camera and started shooting. Check out the little shadows of the onlookers at the bottom of the frame. So Cool!!

I know you all visit this blog to see photographs of my beautiful clients, but my boyfriend showed me this Youtube video last night and I had to share it with you. I don't know these people and cannot take credit for the video. I will however be conducting my own test based on the video. I leave you with these two questions.... How safe are cell phones, and what's to make of our brains in 20 years? Please feel free to comment! I'll be posting my findings as soon as I conduct my own experiment.

Tracey + Joey = Engaged (Bristol RI)

I met up with Tracey and Joey this past weekend for our engagement date. It was like one million degrees out! I had lost my voice a few days prior due to a cough and cold and I was worried that I would have to reschedule, but I saved my voice all day so that I'd have a bit left for directing this session. Considering we were melting, and I had no voice, you wouldn't be able to tell from the pictures. We had alot of fun and I look forward to their wedding this October. Congratulations! How Beatutiful

This is my oldest friend Jessica. We've been best buds for 20 odd years now. We had a surprise mini shower for her today at my studio. She thought that she was coming in for maternity shots but we surprised her with a shower! After the shower, I shot my first maternity session at my new studio location, actually it was my first studio session at all in my new location. Tobey, Jess's other half made a great assistant, he was all over the lights! Anyway here is one of my favorites so far from the session!

The very beautiful Sue and Eric tied the knot last weekend in New Bedford Massachusetts. There was a 4 hour gap in between the ceremony and the reception, so Sue and I made a plan. She rented a party bus to keep her wedding party occupied and hydrated :) Our first stop was downtown Providence Rhode Island, then to the State House in Providence, and finally back to downtown New Bedford. We got some awesome shots and the best part was that there was no pressure! I loved having all of that extra time. Their reception was held at Cafe Funchal, which looked absolutely stunning and let me tell you, the food was to die for. Congratulations guys, thanks for having me!

I met up with Amy and Sean yesterday at the Gertrude Boyden Wildlife Sanctuary in Taunton Massachusetts to photograph their engagement portraits. It was a beautiful day, and the light was just right. I love engagement sessions because they are kinda like a get-to-know each other session. So I guess they are kinda like a date. So I guess I had a date with Amy and Sean... weird. Anyways we had alot of fun, Amy confessed today that she was really nervous before hand but that once we got going she was really relaxed and actually having fun. Woohoo! Mission accomplished! That is usually my goal, fun, spontaneous, not so painful photography. Anyhow, thanks for the date guys! Hope you love your pictures!

Kim and Neil are engaged!

I met up with Kim and Neil this past weekend in the Boston Common to shoot their engagement pictures. Well don't you know as I was driving into Boston it started to drizzle. We had already rescheduled the session once due to bad weather and since they had driven down from New Hampshire for the shoot we opted to just make the best of it. I pulled out the umbrellas and we took a stroll. We ended up with some really cute images under those umbrellas, so I'm kinda glad it rained! Ha Ha. Special thanks to Kim's sister and brother in-law who lugged my umbrellas around when we didn't need them. Kim and Neil will be tying the knot this fall at the Gunstock Mountain Resort in New Hampshire. I can't wait to shoot your wedding! Here's your slideshow!

Regina and David - Double Tree Hotel, Boston, MA

Regina and David were married this past weekend at the Swedenborg Chapel in Cambridge Massachusetts. They actually met while studying at Harvard University. So we thought it would be great to go back to all of the places on campus that were special to them for their pictures. It was a really relaxed and fun Bride and Groom session. We walked around Harvard's beautiful campus for a little over an hour and visited the freshman dorm that Regina and David met in, David's old room, their first apartment, the freshman dining hall, and even the steps that David proposed on. It was a great trip down memory lane for them and some great photo opps for me and my crew! After their photo shoot we headed back to the Double Tree Hotel in Boston, MA for their reception. Let me start by thanking all of the contestants who entered the free wedding giveaway. It breaks my heart that I cannot give each one a free wedding. The runners up will receive a $300.00 credit to any one of my wedding packages or towards a custom wedding package.

Suzanne & Michael are by far the hands down winners of this contest with a whopping 508 votes! I started this contest by collecting emails as votes for each couple, within the first few hours I had over 150 votes for Suzanne & Michael. It was not required to write anything in the body of the email just to type their names in the subject line. As I received the email (by the dozens), I would first double check that it was a new email address and second I'd move them into each couple's folder that I had created. I clicked on one and realized that someone had written something in the body about Suzanne and Michael, this is what I read......

"I certainly will vote for the best couple we can have here in this world. Loving, caring, compassionate, kind and helpful to everyone."

After reading this I went back through each couple's folders and read some amazing things. Here are just a few of the things that were said about this couple..

JULIE & ELVIS

Our names are Elvis Freitas and Julie Zamora. Our story begins way back in 1998. Yes, almost 10 years ago. We met each other in high school. We had food's class together. Elvis thought it would be a smooth move to dry my dish's. Well, as we all know now his moves paid off. We went to our high school prom together and that began our wonderful, loving relationship. We had tons of fun in the years to come. We got to know one another very well and each other's family. I went off to college and Elvis wasn't a school person, so he went to work full-time. I studied at New England Tech and became a Medical Assistant. Through the next few years as a couple we had our ups and downs just like anyone else.

Elvis' family is full Portuguese. So they are a blast at party's. He has one older brother who is about 10 years older than Elvis. So Elvis has two neice's and a nephew. They are a big part of our life. They are like brother's and sister's to us. They are just a few years younger than us, so we do a lot of hanging out with them. Tons of holiday's, hanging out during the summer, fire's in their back yard. Over the years we became very close and just two years ago Elvis' sister-in-law became ill with breast cancer. That was a big blow for their family. Fatima is the strongest person I know. She pulled through and is now a breast cancer survivor. One year later after radiation therapy. She finds out she has thyroid cancer. She is the STRONGEST person I know. She has survived her thyroid cancer and as I wirte this, her recovery is super. They are all apart of my life now. They are my family.

I have two younger brother's. To Elvis, they are the brother's he never had as a child. They found out they have a lot in common with each other. My family is not really that big. So what I have, I keep close.

We enjoyed life to the fullest. We traveled as much as possible. Making wonderful memories. We went on cruises for the first time together. That was FUN!!!! You learn a lot about people being with them in such close quarter's for a whole week. We travled to Florida many times, California. We relized as the year's went on, we were going to be getting married. I was hoping a lot sooner, than later. So many moment's when I finally thought, YES, he is going to propose. When the night ended, I had no such ring.

We are growing together and both working our full-time jobs. Looking on what to do with our future and make it better. We decided to by a house!! We bought our 3- family house at the ages of 24. Our family and friends where 100% behind us. That was the best move we could have ever made together. We signed papers and moved in May 13, 2005. Which happened to be a Friday and that has brought us the best luck in the world. Moving in together is a big deal for everyone. We are so much stonger together.

One year later, he finally pops the question!!! Yes, Yes, Yes, was all I could think. I was so happy. Things are going so well in both our lives. We enjoyed our engagement for another whole year. We still had some traveling to do and with a new house, comes new things to explore. We love to do things together. We are better together. We start a new chapter in our lives as a couple.

Now we start to plan our wedding. EXCITING!!!! We searched and searched for a place. Found a magnificant place that represence us to the tee.I find my dress with such ease. So exciting We have been saving and saving over the years for this day. We knew it would coming. We, unfortunatly have to pay a big majority for our wedding ourselves. So we want to make it the most memorable for everyone with what we have. When it cam time to search for a photographer. We thought, oh man. disposable camara's. We worked so hard in our lives up to this day. We want to be able to show everyone our special day through the eyes of Leatherwood photography. Once I found Jennifer Leatherwood's site through a friend of a friend. I knew as soon as I saw her pictures. I want Leatherwood photography. After so many years together I just wanted to be able to put the trust in a photographer to capture every moment as if it were there own. When you look at her pictures you know who ever is in that picture had a good time. This is why I want Jennifer Leatherwood to photograph our Wedding Day. My name is Beth Marion, and I am submitting this entry for my sister, Amy Marion, and her fiance, Chris Woods.

Amy and Chris have been a couple for 17 years, and last year Chris popped the question and Amy accepted. OK, so they're not impulsive...

Amy and Chris live in Greenland, New Hampshire and are planning on getting married at St. Catherine's Church in Little Compton, where Amy and I grew up, and having the reception at the Meeting House at Tiverton Four Corners. True to Amy's coastal New England background, she and Chris are planning to have an elegant clamboil for the reception. Amy has her dress (it's stunning!) and has been tasting wedding cakes and looking at invitations. What they don't have is a date.

Amy and Chris had the date set at the church and were just about to sign the contract with the Meeting House when both of them had issues with their jobs last year. Chris lost his job due to restructuring and Amy's job was in jeopardy because of the sale of her company. So wedding plans were put on hold.

Amy and Chris both have new jobs now, and things are looking up.

I first became aware of your wonderful work when our friends Heather and Seth became engaged. I was completely impressed with the pictures from their wedding, and I knew then I wanted my sister to have images like that to remember her day. But when I saw Heather's Trash the Dress session, that clinched it!

So I hope you will consider Amy and Chris as candidates in your wedding contest. They've worked hard and waited a long time for their special day. I want them to have images as special as they are to remember that day.

SUZANNE & MICHAEL

Love and Cans…What They Have In Common?

I think this is such a great story; it’s a story about finding a solution to a challenge instead of complaining about it. It’s a story about love, in the form of a non-traditional romance between two people that becomes a fairytale love story. It’s the story about two people who were spending time looking for what they thought they wanted, and instead found exactly what they needed in each other; these two people are Suzanne Raposo and Michael Ramos.

Everything was great, until they found out what they had to pay for the wedding. They both are very intense, amazing, and strong individuals who are very involved with volunteering in the community; together they make an even greater team. Their solution not only helped them financially, but was environmentally friendly and cleaned up their community, along with many others.

They noticed that many states redeemed only some soda bottles and cans, except Maine, which redeemed all types of bottles and cans for a $0.05 deposit. They saw how many cans and bottles were being thrown out on a daily basis and found this to be an exciting opportunity. They set a goal to pay for their wedding by collecting bottles and cans, which I might add is a pretty hefty goal. Their wedding had an estimated cost of $25,000; this translates into 500,000 cans. The news spread quickly among co-workers, family and friends, and they all began collecting.

Michael and Suzanne are a bit of an unlikely couple, he is a 38 year old divorced father of two young girls and she is a 26 year old young woman with no children. His family loved her immediately, and her family was very old fashion and concerned about their young daughter’s future. After seeing how great of a father he was and getting to know him, things quickly changed. He and his two beautiful girls are now welcomed additions to the family.
Even though their relationship faced many obstacles that felt like steep mountains, they confronted every challenge together.

We decided to write this because we know the story better than anyone else, because it’s our story. We met volunteering for a coalition that helps prevent substance abuse among youth. I was working at the Girl Scouts and Michael was working for the District Attorney’s office. We were both very active in the community and found our paths crossing often…

Michael (on Suzanne): I was immediately drawn to her, not because she was beautiful but because I was fascinated by her passion and commitment to youth and the community. I also could not help but notice how young she was and how unusual it was to see such a young woman so engaged and driven. I began looking forward to coalition meetings like I never had before. Professionally she brought energy and focus to the coalition, for me she brought an infectious laugh, a smile that was pure and restored hope, and an inner beauty that made me experience anticipation like I never had before.

Suzanne (on Michael): He certainly caught my attention; I thought he was handsome and so adorable with his red, plaid farmer looking button down shirt, but I have to say I was most impressed by the way he presented himself. He was a gentle leader yet a powerful voice. He was so passionate about making a difference in the community and committed to protecting the youth. Every time he spoke my heart would pound frantically; he was eloquent, well-versed, funny, genuine and thoughtful. I loved spending time with him; we would talk for hours and it would only seem like minutes. I began to count down days until the next time I would see him...the days never seemed to go by fast enough.

Well since we are writing this story you know that we passed the part where we were just friends and colleagues…

Michael: We were in the midst of planning a holiday party together for the coalition and we grew closer and closer as we worked together. I knew I was falling for her and falling hard. I was so scared to let her know how I was feeling because I didn’t want to ruin the friendship that we had established but I also wanted to keep the relationship professional.

I knew that I had to tell her how I felt and that day I will never forget. I knew what I wanted to say. I wanted to ask, “Do you feel the same way about me as I feel about you?”

We were on one of our long drives talking about everything and anything. With my heart pounding and palms sweating I asked her the question.

Suzanne: The question completely threw me for a loop. I really liked him and enjoyed being around him, he made me happy, but I wanted to make sure I fully understood what he was asking, so I was decided to give the reserved response and said…”Do you mean as a friend?”

I really hoped he meant more than friends…and he did! ☺ Although confused because of his circumstances, I gave him a small kiss and said that is good for now.

That was the beginning of an amazing one year romance where we found in each other our best friends and soul mates.

The reason why we deserve to win this contest is because; we are a devoted couple who works hard for everything we have earned from our personal and professional lives. The purpose of sharing the can collection story is because we think it illustrates the tenacity and creativity that we have as individuals and that we will share together in our marriage. It’s a pretty penny to have a wedding and simply crossing our arms and stomping our feet is not a solution. We recently took a big step and purchased our first home together and are currently planning on going back to college to obtain our Master’s degrees. This contest is one way to help make our dreams come true and capture our most treasured moments.

We are celebrating our day under the fireworks on Saturday, July 4, 2009 at the Hawthorne Country Club in Dartmouth, MA.

I’m not sure if we will reach our can collection goal to pay for our wedding, but we are having fun trying. We have experienced a lot of love and support from family and friends, so we already feel blessed. One thing to take note of, as we drive off into the sunset after our reception, don’t expect to see any cans tied to the back of our car; WE NEED THEM ALL!

Heather was the winner of the free Winter Trash the Dress Session. She came prepared with about 50 items of clothes and matching boots! It was pretty cold out and she was such a good sport! We shot these images in down by my studio in downtown Bristol RI. It was such a good time, I just love these sessions! Heather has been one of my bestest (ya I said bestest) friends for just about 20 years now. She has been such a wonderful friend to not only myself but to just about everyone that knows her!! When she met Seth we were all overjoyed because we could see just how well they compliment each other! Seth is awesome and I am soooo happy that these two found each other.

Heather and Seth were married at the Crown Plaza in Warwick Rhode Island on New Years Eve. When Heather decided on New Years Eve we were all psyched because we never have anything to do on New Years Eve and this year we would not only have a killer party to attend but we'd also get to watch some of our closest friends tie the knot! What could be better?

I was very fortunate this year to have an extremely talented second shooter Armando. He was kind enough to give up his New Years Eve and help me out so that after I shot all of the important events I could kick back and party with my friends!! So after the (HOT HOT HOT) first dance and parent dances I scooted off to my room and changed into my party gear. (I knew if I didn't change into a dress I'd never put the camera down ;) Armando was so awesome, everybody loved him and I am very grateful to him for this! Thanks for a great year Arm!

It was an awesome party and I had a hangover to prove it! Ha Ha Ha. Congratulations Heather and Seth! I love you guys and wish you a lifetime of love & laughter!

Life is Good!

It's a good morning!
Over the last week I have moved my studio to an awesome location, went to the concert of my very favorite artist Ani Difranco, spent some time with some awesome people and somehow managed not to get to behind on my work. I did fall down the stairs after the concert and throw out my back, and I did break my rear windshield during the move, BUT somehow through it all, the light always shines through. I am happy and thankful for it all! Life is good! :)

What the Heck is "Trash the Dress"?

So what is Trash the Dress, you ask.... A TTD session is a session that takes place some time AFTER the wedding day. It can be done with the Bride alone or with the Bride and the Groom. The name TTD can be a bit deceiving though. When people hear trash the dress they automatically assume that the dress gets destroyed. This is not always the case though. How much the dress gets trashed is really up to the Bride. I did a TTD session with Andrea recently where we went to farm land and frolicked through vineyards and forests. It was really fun unique and their was absolutely no damage done to the her dress. If you are not fully convinced yet that you want to trash your dress, here's another idea for you. I actually have a few Brides in my upcoming wedding season who are planning on buying an extra simple white summer dress to do the session in so that their actual wedding dress can remain pristine

So basically a TTD session is just a creative fashion inspired fun session to do post wedding. These sessions are soooo fun. I will be posting Andrea's TTD slideshow just as soon as I get settled into my new studio. Since Beth is a beach babe, she was dying to get into that ocean in her dress! She is such a good sport. If anyone is interested in doing a TTD session please let me know I am anxious to hear just how you would like to trash your dress!

Jenny & Joe (Providence RI)

Jenny & Joe were married on December 29th. Their reception was held at the Biltmore Hotel in Providence Rhode Island. A few weeks prior to their wedding I received a call from my friend and colleague, Peter Silvia . He told me that he had an accident and unfortunately he had broken his arm. He was wondering if I was available to cover one of his weddings for him. This is how I came about shooting Jenny and Joe's wedding. Faith Dugan and I covered this wedding for Peter. It's really important in this business to have backup just incase something like this happens.

Jenny looked sooooo beautiful! She looked like Sophia Loren (in her younger days of course) It was a privilege filling in for Peter at such a beautiful wedding.

NEW STOREFRONT LOCATION-BRISTOL RHODE ISLAND!!!!

I am very excited to announce that I will be moving the business to a gorgeous storefront location in Bristol RI. I will be moving over the next couple of weeks and am hoping to be settled in by Feb 1st. I will be getting the keys tomorrow and will post some before/after images as soon as I get settled. Sharon & Andy's Engagement Session- Boston MA

Last week I had the privilege of meeting Sharon & Andy for their engagement session. They are originally from Boston Massachusetts but are currently residing in Colorado. Since they were coming home for the holidays, we thought it would be a great time to take their engagement pictures. I met them in their old neighborhood in Boston. We started on the doorstep of their old apartment and slowly made our way through a park and around the block stopping at different locations as we went.
